How credits work

Credits are what you spend to make a video on AITuber. You can see how many you have left on the credits counter in your dashboard.

This article explains how the credit system works. For the numbers, What each video type costs.

Where credits come from

There are four sources.

  • Signup bonus. You get 100 credits when you create your account. This is a one time bonus, not a monthly refill.
  • Free rewards for getting started. Before you buy anything, you can earn extra free credits by finishing the first steps: make your first video (25 credits), connect a channel (15 credits), and set up autopilot (25 credits). With the signup bonus, that is 165 free credits in total. Each reward is paid one time. The rewards checklist is on your dashboard, and it goes away after your first purchase.
  • A plan. Each plan adds credits every billing cycle: each month on monthly billing, or once up front for the year on yearly billing. A plan is also what unlocks downloads.
  • A credit pack. A single payment that adds credits once, with no subscription. A pack does not unlock downloads.

What uses credits

Every video charges for two things: the voice and the visuals.

The voice cost depends on how long the speech is. The visual cost depends on two choices you make:

  1. Which video type you pick. A Faceless Video, a Skeleton Video and an AI Music Video do not cost the same, because they use different AI models. The gap is large. A 30 second Skeleton Video costs about as much as a five minute Faceless Video with basic images.
  2. Which quality you pick. Basic images are the cheapest option. AI video clips are the most expensive.

Some video types skip the voice charge. 3D Talking Characters and UGC Reaction Hooks have no voiceover, and an AI Music Video pays for a song instead.

A few smaller actions also use credits: the Ideas Finder, script refinement, and AI generated titles and descriptions. Each of these costs only a few credits.

Always check the estimate first

You do not need to calculate any of this yourself.

Before you generate, the app shows the exact cost for your current settings on screen, just above the Generate button. That number comes from your real settings, so it is the number to trust.

Nothing is charged until you press Generate. If the estimate is higher than you want, lower the visual quality or shorten the script, and the number drops straight away.

Do my credits expire

No. Credits stay in your account.

They also add up. When your plan renews, the new credits are added to the credits you did not use. Nothing is removed.

If your plan ends, the credits you have left are still yours.

What happens if a video fails

You are not charged for a video that fails to generate. The credits are returned to your balance automatically.

Does downloading cost credits

No. Downloading a finished video costs 0 credits, because you already paid credits to generate it.

Downloading does need a plan. How to download your video.
