# What is AITuber?

AITuber is an AI video maker. You type an idea or a script, and we make the full video for you: visuals, voiceover, background music, and synced captions. You can make short videos for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels, or long videos up to 20 minutes.

## What can I make with AITuber?

Each video type has its own page in the app. Open one and start there.

## How does it work in 30 seconds?

1. Pick a video type from the list above.
2. Type an idea, or paste your own script.
3. Pick a voice, a visual style, and an aspect ratio.
4. Click **Generate**. We write, voice, illustrate, and edit the video for you.

## What do videos cost?

Videos cost credits. You get 100 free credits when you sign up, and you can earn more free credits by finishing the starter steps. ## Can AITuber also post my videos?

Yes. You can connect your channels on the [publish page](https://app.aituber.app/dashboard/publish) and post or schedule videos from the app. Autopilot can make and post videos for you on a schedule; it needs an active plan.
