# Use AITuber from Claude and other AI tools (MCP)

You can let AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Codex create AITuber videos for you. Add our MCP server with one URL, sign in, and then just ask: "Create a 60-second video about 5 ocean facts".

## How do I connect it?

The server URL is:

https://mcp.aituber.app
```

In Claude (claude.ai or Claude Desktop):

1. Open **Settings**.
2. Go to **Connectors**.
3. Click **Add custom connector** and paste `https://mcp.aituber.app`.
4. A browser window opens. Sign in with your AITuber account and approve access.

In Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http aituber https://mcp.aituber.app
```

In ChatGPT: open **Settings**, go to **Connectors**, turn on Developer mode under Advanced, then add the URL and sign in.

Other MCP clients (Cursor, Codex, and more) work the same way: add a remote MCP server with the URL and sign in when prompted. [Full per-client setup steps](https://aituber.app/mcp)

## Can I use an API key instead of signing in?

Yes. For servers, CI, or automation where a browser sign-in is not practical, create a key on the [API keys page](https://app.aituber.app/dashboard/api-keys) and send it as a header to the same URL:

```

There is also a local option you can run with npx if your client only supports local MCP servers. It needs your API key in the `AITUBER_API_KEY` environment variable:

```
