# Quality tiers explained (Basic, Good, Premium, Max)

Quality tiers control how good your visuals look and how many credits each scene costs. Higher tiers use stronger AI models. Pick the tier in the create form before you generate; the credit estimate updates as you switch.

## What do the image quality tiers change?

For videos made with AI images:

| Tier | What you get | Credits per image |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | Lower quality. Fine for simple scenes. | 1 |
| Good | Good for most needs. | 5 |
| Premium | Almost good for anything. Sharper detail. | 10 |
| Max | Very accurate, more detailed. Highest resolution. | 20 |

A video uses about one image per 3 seconds, so tier choice changes the total cost a lot on long videos.

## What do the video quality tiers change?

For faceless videos made with AI video clips:

| Tier | What you get | Credits per second |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | Good for most needs. | 5 |
| Good | Sharper than Basic. | 10 |
| Premium | Best quality. Handles tricky scenes. | 26 |
| Max | Sharpest, with the most detail. A newer model than Premium, in 1080p. | 30 |

All four tiers show in the quality picker, on the faceless create form and on the music video step.

**Basic** is the cheapest AI video, at 5 credits per second. If you want to spend less than
that, use images instead of video: **Basic** AI images cost 1 credit per scene, and stock
footage costs 50 credits per minute.

AI video needs an active plan, whichever tier you pick. The image tiers and stock footage do not.

Some video types use their own tiers and models:

| Medical Animation | Max | Sharpest, with the most detail. | 30 |
| 3D Characters | Basic | Good for most needs. | 10 |
| 3D Characters | Good | Sharper than Basic. | 15 |
| 3D Characters | Premium | Best quality. Keeps the face steady. | 25 |
| 3D Characters | Max | Sharpest, with the most detail. | 30 |
| AI Music Video | Basic / Good / Premium / Max | Same four tiers as a faceless video. | 5 / 10 / 26 / 30 |

## Which tier should I pick?

- Testing an idea or a niche: start with **Basic** images. It is the cheapest way to see the full video.
- Publishing regularly: **Good** images, or **Good** video when you want real motion at a
  steady cost. **Basic** and **Good** video come from the same model; **Good** is the larger,
  sharper size.
- Product shots, faces, or text-heavy scenes: **Premium** or **Max** images.
- Skeleton or Medical Animation videos where organ positions must be exact: **Premium**. Note the rates differ: Medical Animation runs the faceless video rates (5/10/26/30), Skeleton has its own (10/15/25/30).
- The one video that has to look its best: **Max** video. It is the same model family as Premium, one version newer and one size larger.
