# Payments and currencies

Prices on the [billing page](https://app.aituber.app/dashboard/billing) are shown in US dollars. In India, prices are shown in Indian rupees instead. The checkout shows the final amount before you pay, so there is no surprise on the confirmation step.

## What currency will I pay in

- **Most countries.** Prices are shown in US dollars. Your card works normally; your bank converts the amount to your own currency, and your statement shows that converted figure. Your bank may add its own conversion fee.
- **India.** Prices display in INR, and you pay in INR. No conversion is needed.

**A new plan keeps the currency it starts in.** If you start a plan in US dollars, later plan
changes and credit packs on that account are also in US dollars, even from an Indian timezone.
A plan started in INR stays in INR in the same way.

An account that already had a plan before this change keeps its current rules: an Indian device
timezone selects INR, even if you paid in USD before. Your current plan keeps its currency for
renewals. When you change from a USD plan to an INR plan, checkout opens so you can pay in INR.
Outside India, check the currency shown on the billing page before you buy.

Some checkout pages offer a choice of currency. Check the final amount and currency
before you pay.

## How do I pay from India

Indian accounts see INR prices automatically. Click the plan or the credit pack, and the checkout page shows you the payment methods you can use:

- **UPI.** Pay with your UPI app. For a subscription, this sets up UPI AutoPay, an automatic payment you approve once in your UPI app, so the plan can renew each month. The approval asks for your plan's own price, so you are not asked to allow a larger amount.
- **Credit or debit card.** Card payments also work, billed in INR.

UPI AutoPay cannot be used above a monthly limit set by the UPI system. For the larger plans the
checkout offers a card only. A credit pack is a single payment, not a subscription, so it needs no
AutoPay approval.

If you later move to a plan that costs more than the amount you approved, that charge is refused
and your plan stays as it is. The payment page then asks you to approve the new amount, and paying
there completes the change.

If a UPI payment fails or gets stuck, try again with a card, or start a chat with us.

## How do discounts work

When we run a sale, the discount is already on the checkout when it opens. You do not need
to type anything, and the lower price is shown before you pay.

If you hold a code of your own, look for a discount box on the checkout page. Type the code
exactly as you got it, including the capital letters, and check that the total drops. A code
can also be limited to one plan or one credit pack, and it does not work on the others.

We do not list offers in this help center. A sale appears inside the app and in our emails
while it is on.

## My code does not work

Check the spelling and the capital letters first. If it still does not work, or you cannot
find a box for it, the code may be expired, used up, or for a different plan or pack. Start a
chat with us before you pay. Tell us the code and the plan or pack you want, and we will sort
it out with you.

## Is my payment secure

Yes. Payments are handled by our payment providers on their secure checkout pages. We never see or store your card number or UPI details.
