Publishing needs an active plan (Creator or higher) and at least one connected account. ## How do I publish a video? 1. Go to the [publish page](https://app.aituber.app/dashboard/publish) 2. Open the **Publications** tab. 3. Click **Publish a Video**. 4. In the **Pick a video** step, choose the video you want to post. 5. Under **Publish to**, tick the accounts you want. You can pick more than one. 6. Write your post text, or click **Generate with AI** to write it for you. 7. Fill in the platform settings (see below). 8. Keep **Publish Immediately** on to post now, or turn it off to schedule. 9. Click **Publish Now** or **Schedule**. You can also start from My Videos: open [videos list](https://app.aituber.app/dashboard/videos) and use the publish action on any video card. ## What does Generate with AI do? **Generate with AI** writes the right post text for each platform you selected: a YouTube title, description, tags, and category, plus captions for the social platforms. It costs 10 credits per use. You can edit everything it writes before you publish. ## What settings does each platform have? - **YouTube**: title, tags, category, and a **Made for Kids** switch. Vertical or square videos up to 3 minutes post as Shorts. - **TikTok**: switches for **Allow Comments**, **Allow Duet**, **Allow Stitch**, and **Label as AI-generated**. - **Instagram**: the video posts as a Reel. - **Facebook**: uses the same caption as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. - **X and Threads**: share one short caption. Long text is shortened to fit. There is also a checkbox to add "Made with AITuber" at the end of your post. It is optional. ## Does AITuber make a thumbnail for my video? Yes. Turn on **Create thumbnail** when you make a video, or use **Create thumbnail** in Publish. You can give optional instructions for the words and look. The image and its text are made together. Check the shown credit cost before you start. The thumbnail adds a short opening to your video. To change it, click **Regenerate** in Publish or select the **Thumbnail** image in the video editor. Wait for it to finish before publishing. For YouTube Shorts, you must choose the cover frame in the YouTube app after upload. Follow the time shown in AITuber. We cannot set a Shorts cover through the publishing API. Autopilot creates thumbnails by default. To turn this off, open **Pick the look → Advanced settings** and change **Create thumbnails**. ## How do I schedule for later? 1. Turn off **Publish Immediately**. 2. Pick a date and a time. Times use your local timezone. 3. Click **Schedule**. The scheduled time must be in the future. You can see and manage scheduled posts in the **Publications** tab. ## What if my video is not exported yet? No problem. AITuber exports it first, then uploads it. The export usually takes 2 to 5 minutes. If you scheduled a time that is very soon, the post goes out as soon as the export is ready. ## My video did not post to YouTube Three different things cause this, and each needs a different answer. Check which one you have before you try again. **The upload was refused on our side.** This is rare, and it is not caused by anything you did. Open your [videos list](https://app.aituber.app/dashboard/videos), download the video, and upload it to YouTube yourself. The video is finished and yours; only the posting step failed. If it keeps happening, tell us and we will look at your account. **YouTube says you have reached your upload limit.** This one is on your channel, not on us. YouTube limits how many videos a new or unverified channel can upload in a day. Uploading by hand will not help, because YouTube refuses that too. Wait a day, or verify your channel with YouTube, then publish again. **Your channel asks you to reconnect.** The connection to YouTube has expired. Reconnect it and publish again. Posting a video costs no credits, so a failed post takes nothing from your balance. ## Why do I see an upgrade dialog? Publishing and scheduling need an active plan (Creator or higher). If you are on the free tier, the app shows the upgrade dialog instead of the publish form.
