# How to duplicate a video

You can duplicate any finished video from your videos page. The copy costs no credits, because nothing is generated again. It appears next to the original with "copy" added to its title.

## How do I duplicate a video?

1. Go to the [videos list](https://app.aituber.app/dashboard/videos).
2. Find the video and click the three-dots menu in the top right corner of its card.

3. Click **Duplicate**.
4. The copy appears in your library as a finished video.

## When would I duplicate a video?

- To try a different edit without touching the original. Open the copy in the editor with **Edit** and change it there.
- To keep one version for each platform, for example one with a logo and one without.
- To keep a safe original before a big edit.

## Does duplicating cost credits?

No. The copy reuses the visuals, voiceover, and music that were already generated. Only new generations inside the editor cost credits.

## Why is Duplicate grayed out?

You can only duplicate a finished video. Wait for the video to finish generating, then try again.
