# How to delete your account

You can delete your own account from the app. You do not need to ask us.

## Read this first

Deletion is permanent. It happens as soon as you confirm, and nothing can be brought back. Not by you, and not by us.

You lose all of this:

- All your videos, exports, and uploaded media
- Your whole credit balance, **including credits you paid for**
- Your saved elements, avatars, characters, scripts, and ideas
- Your connected channels and your publishing history
- Your API keys
- Your account and profile data

If you have a plan, we cancel it as part of the deletion, and you are not charged again.

If you only want to stop paying, do not delete your account. See the last section.

## How to delete your account on a computer

1. Look at the bottom of the left sidebar, near **Refer & Earn**, and click your profile picture.

2. Click **Manage account**, the first item in the menu.
3. Open the **Security** tab.
4. Click **Delete account** and follow the confirmation.

## How to delete your account on a phone

There is no left sidebar on a phone, so the way in is different.

1. Open the menu in the bottom navigation bar.
2. Go to the **Account** section and tap the **Profile** tile.

3. Tap **Manage account**.
4. Open the **Security** tab.
5. Tap **Delete account** and follow the confirmation.

## I cannot find the Delete account button

Ask us and we will delete the account for you. Send a message in the chat and say clearly that
you want your account deleted. Write from the same email address you use to sign in, so we know
the request is yours.

The same warnings apply. Deletion is permanent, everything goes, and a plan is canceled as part
of it. Download anything you want to keep before you ask.

## Can I undo a deletion?

No. We cannot restore your videos, your credits, or anything else once the account is gone. There is no grace period and no backup we can pull it from.

## I only want to stop paying, not delete everything

Then cancel your plan instead. This is the safer choice, and most people who ask about deletion want this one.

## I cannot sign in

If you cannot get into your account, you cannot reach the delete button. Send us a message in the chat bubble, or write to [support@aituber.app](mailto:support@aituber.app), and we handle it for you. Tell us the email address on the account.
