# Article to Video: turn a web page into a video

Article to Video turns a web page into a faceless video. Paste a link to a blog post, an article, or any public page. AITuber reads the page, writes the script, and makes the video the same way a faceless video is made: AI voice, visuals, and captions.

## What do I need?

- A public web address that starts with https:// or http://.
- Credits. Reading the page is free. Making the video costs the same as a faceless video.

## How do I make a video from a link?

1. Open the [Article to Video page](https://app.aituber.app/dashboard/article-to-video).
2. Paste the link under **What should we turn into a video?**

3. Keep going. AITuber checks the link in the background. You only see a note if the link does not open.
4. Under **How should we use it?**, pick **Summarize it** or **Read it out**.
5. Under **How long should the video be?**, move the slider.
6. Under **Anything we should know?**, add a note if you want. For example: "Turn it into 5 tips."
7. Pick a voice, a visual style, and a video type.
8. Click **Generate**. The cost estimate shows on the button before you confirm.

AITuber reads the page, writes the script, and makes the video in the background. You can leave the page. The video appears in your videos list when it is done.

## What is the difference between Summarize it and Read it out?

| Option | What it does | Best for |

| Summarize it | AI writes a new short script from the page, sized to the length you pick | Long pages, news, guides |
| Read it out | The text becomes the voice, word for word, up to the length you pick | Short posts, your own writing |

Summarize it is the default. With Summarize it you can add a note about how the script should be, for example "Only the part about pricing".

Read it out uses the slider as a limit. If the text is longer than the length you pick, AITuber stops there.

## How much does it cost?

## What pages can AITuber read?

Blog posts, news articles, guides, help pages, and forum threads all work well. AITuber also reads plain text pages.

It cannot read:

- Pages behind a login or a paywall. AITuber reads only the free part.
- Pages that block automatic readers.
- Video pages, images, or app screens. There is no text to read. A YouTube link does not work.

Very long pages are cut at about 200,000 characters. Pages with fewer than 30 words are refused because there is nothing to make a video from.

## What happens if AITuber cannot read the page?

The video fails with a plain note that says why, and your credits come back. Fix the link and try again.
